Bakersfield LGBTQ is working towards becoming a leader of the Kern County community by providing a wide range of services ranging from community education to marriage and legal services. To accomplish this, Bakersfield LGBTQ is devoting its efforts towards positive change in people's lives through advocacy, education, community support, and networking.
The ultimate realization of these efforts will culminate in the formation of Bakersfield's first LGBTQ community center, complete with recreational outlets, counseling and advisory services.
