The Bakersfield LGBTQ has a group called Family OUTings that is all about getting out in the community for gay friendly fun. The Family OUTing's group is geared towards gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight supporters who want to have their kids hangout with like minded people. You don't have to have your own child to attend but you do have to have a child to bring, whether it be your sibling, sister, brother, cousin or even the neighbor kid (with the parent's permission of course).
