Bakersfield LGBTQ is committed to educating the community & helping provide a sense of belonging for all its members. For that reason we host occasional social events that are simply meant to give community members a way to socialize in fun, safe, and welcoming environments.
As new social events are planned, some information will be made available here. To make sure you don't miss out on any of the fun, be sure you join Yahoo! Groups & Bakersfield LGBTQ Meetup.
if there is a social event you would like to see us organize, let us know. We're always looking for new and fun suggestions!
women's rap group

bowling night
gay night at the kern county fair
let's paint! color me mine
All women are invited to join in a group designed to give each participant a confidential environment to share life stories and connect to each other. It is un-facilitated.
This is just one of the exciting events we do each year as a group to afford our members the opportunity to get to know each other in a more social and smaller atmosphere. When the fair comes to town, watch our site for all the details!
We don't focus on the scores. We're not in a league. We are simply out in the community, having fun. Whatever your skill level, whatever your experience, events like this can be fun for everyone! Watch our calendar for the next time we schedule this event!
No need to be artistic. No experience requires. Join us the next time its scheduled and enjoy the company of people like you getting together to have fun chatting, visiting, and doing a little recreational painting!
As a group, we can have fun just about anywhere! Sometimes we're active, sometimes we sit around talking, and sometimes we're creative. Attending a painting session at the Color Me Mine plaster studio is one type of creative streak we sometimes get. It's fun to socialize, it's fun to make something with your own two hands, and its fun to try something new!
